The plant in Opole has a new machine feeding waste into the boiler and did not stop operating during the modernisation. We connected it in about one and a half months, including acceptance inspections, working 12 hours a day.
Scope of work
We delivered the automation and power supply for the new machine, an outdoor control container and the connection of a new transformer substation.
- Installation and connection of the feeding machine
- Automation of waste feeding into the boiler
- Outdoor control container
- Connection of a new transformer substation
- Trenches and protective conduits
- Cable pits and cable passages
- Supply switchboards
- Cable routes in the hall
12 hours a day next to a running line. We worked alongside the operating installation, 12 hours a day, with acceptance inspections along the way. As a result, the plant did not lose production during the works.
We also connected the new transformer substation and the container housing the machine controls.
The new machine feeds waste into the boiler, and the line needs less operator work.
About 6 weeks passed from the start of works to the acceptance inspections.
