The residents of a house in Czeladź have their own electricity from the roof. On the flat roofs of industrial buildings, we installed lightning protection systems that protect the buildings during storms.
Scope of work
On the house, we installed the mounting structure and photovoltaic panels. On the industrial roofs, we ran air-termination conductors on supports and connected the elements protruding above the roof to them.
- Panel mounting structure on a tiled roof
- Installation of photovoltaic panels
- Cables run across the roof
- Working from a cherry picker
- Air-termination conductors on flat roofs
- Supports on the bitumen felt roofing
- Connecting vent stacks and exhaust vents
- Conductors along the parapets
Roof covering left intact. On the flat roofs, the conductors rest on supports, so they do not wear through the bitumen felt. We connected the vent stacks and exhaust vents protruding above the roof to the system so that they are protected too.
The lightning protection system conducts the discharge to earth, away from the people and equipment in the building.
The panels on the house in Czeladź produce electricity for the residents.
Both systems are on the same roof, so it is best to plan them together.
